(1) SEVEN DOORS:
Produced by Femi Adebayo, Seven doors centers around the relationship of a Yoruba King and his Igbo wife, with a Hausa man coming to invest in their kingdom. The Nigerian movie is set in two eras, the 18th century and the 19th century. Seven doors is set to hit Netflix on December 13, 2024. Top actors like Chioma Akpotha, Afeez Oyetoro (Saka), and Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), among others, are cast in this movie.
(2) THIN LINE:
Even after successfully filming this movie early this year, Mercy Aigbe team has kept the plot and release news about this film under wraps. Regardless, it has been confirmed that the Nigerian movie is set for a December 13, 2024 cinema release.
(3) THE WAITER
This December, AY Making has a new Nigerian movie coming to the box office on December 20 as announced. The waiter is a story that centers around Nigeria’s socio-political landscape. The likes of Shaffy Bello, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Rahama Sadau are featured in this movie.
(4) Alakada: Bad And Boujee:
Toyin Abraham is set to release her new Nigerian movie, Alakada: Bad and Boujee from her Alakada film franchise on December 20, 2024. The movie centers around a baddie living a fake life. IK Ogbonna, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Bimbo Ademoye, Olumide Owuru are cast in this movie.
(5) EVERYBODY LOVES JENIFA (ELJ)
Everyone online must have come across one or two promotional videos of Funke Akindele for her upcoming film, Everybody Loves Jenifa. This movie is another spin-off of her OG film and popular franchise Jenifa. ELJ has a crew of 175 members and it’s coming to the cinemas this December. The faces of stars like Olumide Owuru, Falz, Bisola Aiyeola, and Layi Wasabi among others won’t be scarce in the movie.
(6) A CHRISTMAS IN LAGOS
Jade Osiberu is set to release a star-studded movie titled A Christmas in Lagos this December. Even though a release date hasn’t been released yet, the movie will be available on Prime Video sometime this December. The Movie is a Detty-December story featuring stars like Ayra Star, Adekunle Gold, Ladipoe, Shaffy Bello, Rayxia Ojo (from Supacell), and Richard Mofe-Damijo, among others.
