Popular Nigerian filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba has said that preproduction for “King of Boys” (KOB) with new cast members is underway.
She revealed this news on her Instagram page, informing fans that the highly anticipated thriller “KOB 3: The Begining of the End” will be making a comeback.
Kemi Adetiba posted a casting call for new characters to join the cast of the film, which would also include some of the returning cast members.
Announcing the return of KOB 3, Kemi Adetiba wrote, “New characters getting introduced, and a few old ones returning… But the KOB impact remains the same .
“Actually, scratch that. The new KOB submission is ELEVATED in every way you could imagine… And I’m honored to be able to come back to tell this story.

Pre-production is officially on for KOB 3,.. and I’m so excited to start making the calls to new and some old cast and the crew needed to bring this ambitious vision to life.”
King of Boys, a movie starring Kemi Adetiba, has made N244 million in total as of 2023, placing it in 13th place on the list of the highest-grossing Nigerian films.
The 2018 Nigerian crime political thriller film centers on power struggles and chronicles the tale of Alhaja Eniola Salami, played by Sola Sobowale, whose burgeoning political ambitions threaten everything around her.
