CJay had been making his career in Nollywood since 2021.
Having set up base in Lagos, the Anambra native took part in a number of films such as Larry Cold, Mum Overnight, A Day To My Wedding, The Lies She Tell and What Time Left.
Prior to his passing, CJay had shared his acting experiences. In a recent interview, he said his stint as an extra on a film set with filmmaker Ruth Kadiri made him want to pursue acting as a career.
The exact cause of the death has yet to be determined.
CJay Nwoks’ family and co-workers have yet to officially reveal the cause of his death as of the writing of this report.
