Singer Davido Celebrates Rema On His 23rd Birthday

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has taken to social media to celebrate Rema on 23rd birthday.

The Omo Baba olowo crooner reposted the photo of Rema on his Instagram page story and wished him a happy birthday.

Sharing the photo, Davido wrote, “Happy birthday Rema, did that world.” See his post below:

In April, Davido expressed his happiness over the huge growth of his junior colleague who is making big waves in the music industry.

According to him, Rema’s huge success in the music industry made him to believe in miracle. He told Kiss FM, London, United Kingdom in a recent interview.

Also, the Omo Baba olowo crooner recounted how Rema’s manager, D’Prince brought to him to his mansion, as a shy and quiet boy,

He said, “I saw Rema in New York two days ago. And I hugged him and I was like ‘I’m so proud of you’. Because I remember like him coming to my house with D’Prince back then. And chilling quietly in my living room.

“He didn’t say a word, not knowing that he is going to have the highest charting Afrobeats song ever [on Billboard Hot 100] with ‘Calm Down’ with Selena Gomez.

“You know, he’s just a kid from Benin and then you see that happen, it makes you like believe in miracles.”

Now, Rema who rose to stardom after releasing the song “Dumebi”, is set to headline the 20,000 capacity 02 Arena in the UK on the 14th of November, 2023.
