This monumental achievement solidifies Akindele’s presence at the forefront of Nollywood, with three of her movies holding the top positions for highest-grossing Nigerian films. ‘Battle On The Buka Street’ secured the second spot with a remarkable ₦668 million at the box office, while ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga’ follows closely behind, having earned over ₦636 million.
In a recent social media post, Akindele shared her ambitious goal of surpassing the #1 billion mark at the box office, expressing gratitude by stating, “Na God dey run am.”
