Lateef Adedimeji Responds to Critics Labeling His Wife, Mo Bimpe, as ‘Barren’

Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has addressed trolls who have been calling his wife, Mo Bimpe, a barren woman.

He recounted how his wife has always been supportive, even during his recent movie project, “Lisabi”.

The Yoruba actor disclosed this in an exclusive interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.

In the interview, Lateef Adedimeji, speaking with teary eyes, revealed that he proposed to his wife over a phone call, and she gave him a heartfelt “yes.”

He said, “Someone once told me in the Yoruba movie industry that they gave me one year to see what I would become. I told them to give me two years, and they would see what I would achieve.

“My wife and I have received a lot of trolling. Recently, someone called her barren on social media. She would always show it to me and say, ‘They will be all right.’

“One morning, I just called her and asked if she would marry me, and she said yes.

“When I was working on my first big-screen project, ‘Lisabi’, I realized that everyone I thought would stand by me wasn’t there; there was nobody.”

Lateef Adedimeji got married to his beautiful wife in the year 2021. His wife revealed that marrying Lateef Adedimeji came with a lot of insult, according to The Nation Newspaper.
