Former BBNaija Housemate, Maria Chike Benjamin has addressed the rumors about her relationship with Kelvin, who is wedded to Maryanne Onyinyechi, by asserting that she did not destroy any marriage.
Maria claimed that although they were hanging out at the time, she was unaware that Nigerian businessman Kelvin Anene had already married his partner.
She made this disclosure in an exclusive interview with Chude Jideonwo on his recent show.
Recall that several media outlets reported Kelvin who is also the CEO of First Oil and Gas Limited as Maria’s boyfriend.
According to The Will News, before Maria gained popular as a result of the reality program, they were already an item. Maria worked as an air hostess for Emirates Airline in the same country as Kelvin’s home, the United Arab Emirates. Pascal Okechukwu, a nightlife entrepreneur also known as the Cubana Chief priest, ironically introduced them to one another. Since then, the two have been inseparable, with Maria relocating to his Dubai estate and assuming the role of the house’s mistress.
However, this doesn’t settle well with some Netizen on social media as they criticized her for destroying someone’s else marriage.
In a newest update, Maria cleared the controversy surrounding her relationship with Kelvin, saying she didn’t destroyed any marriage.
Maria said, “I actually wasn’t aware whether or not he was married when we first started dating, but I’m going to stand by the fact that I did not destroy any marriage, I never and will never destroy any marriage”.
