The streaming giant, Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Lisabi: The Uprising, an African tale of Yoruba culture filled with a lot of actions.
The movie producer, Lateef Adedimeji also shared the two and a half minutes long video trailer for Lisabi on his Instagram page on Tuesday morning where he noted that he went from being the boy backstage to leading a galaxy of stars in producing this masterpiece movie that promotes Yoruba culture.
Lisabi: The Uprising directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, and also produced by Lateef Adedimeji’s wife, Oyebade Adebimpe features, promises to show what our heroes went through to gift us the liberty we enjoy today.
If Jagun Jagun produced by Femi Adebayo, one of the epic Yoruba tale movies is one of your favorites, Lisabi – The Uprising is another right movie for you to watch this September 27. While its sequel, ‘Lisabi: A Legend is Born’ is coming in January 2025.
Lisabi: The Uprising features Lateef Adedimeji, Adebimpe Oyebade, Ibrahim Yekini Itele, Olarotimi Michael Fakunle, Jide Awobona, Gabriel Afolayan, Kola Ajeyemi, Boma Akpore, Olumide Oworu, Kelvin Ikeduba, Seun Akindele, and Ibrahim Chatta.
