Singer Davido Pledges N300m To Orphanages Yearly In Nigeria

Nigeria singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has pledged to donate the sum of N300m  to orphanages across Nigeria through his foundation.

On Tuesday afternoon, February 20, he announced via his Twitter account, accompanied by a statement from his Foundation. As per his statement, he will now donate large sums of money to orphans throughout Nigeria as his annual contribution to the country.

He tweeted, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation .. details of disbursement tomorrow “.

In the newest update, the singer fulfilled his pledge to donate the sum of 300 million naira to orphanages as he shared screenshots of his credit alert to his foundation.

Sharing the screenshot, he wrote, “Foundation account credited. More details to follow soon”.

This is not the first time Davido disbursed a huge amount of money to orphanages. Early this year, the Omo baba olowo crooner disbursed N237m to orphanages, Leadership Newspaper reports.
