Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid is bereaved as he lost his mum.
Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun who is the mother of the superstar died at around 1.30 am, Friday, this was confirmed by Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are on that same day.
When asked if Wizkid had lost his mum, Sunday said to journalists on Friday, saying; “Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am.”
As expected the news of the demise of Wizkid’s mum caused many Nigerians to react on social media.
His colleagues and his biggest fans took to their respective social media handle to pen their condolences messages to him. May the soul of Wizkid’s mum rest in perfect peace.
