Nigerian singer, Chidinma Ekile has stated that it is possible for someone to fall by lifting others.
She made this known to the public via her Instagram page on Friday, December 15th, 2023.
Chidinma wrote, “You can actually fall by lifting others, put a limit to how you help people. Don’t do too much, and never allow them guilt trip or manipulate you into getting money off you.”

This is a different viewpoint, though, as musician Davido frequently preaches, stating, “We rise by lifting others.”
While accepting his 2018 Headies Award, musician Davido urged his Nigerian compatriots to constantly assist the less fortunate.
He said, “Look! There is no one here on this stage I have not in one way or the other helped. I am putting it to you Nigerian artistes looking at me and those that are watching me you guys have money. Spend it on those people around you that are in need and be rest assured that you will be lifted up.”
