Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has joined the Nollywood movie industry, working as an actress and producer. “Water and Garri” is the title of her debut film, which she tweeted about.
In 2024, the film will be released exclusively in over 240 countries and territories globally. She claims that in addition to making her debut as a lead actor in Nollywood, she will also serve as executive producer of the project.
According to her, she will not only be making her debut in Nollywood as a lead actor but also as an executive producer of the movie which will be released exclusively in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide in 2024.
Taking to her Instagram page, Tiwa Savage wrote, “Guys, I’m so excited to announce that my first feature film #WaterAndGarri will be released *this year *through @PrimeVideo and shown in over 240 countries and territories worldwide!
“This has been over two years in the making and I must say this is probably one of the most adventurous, fulfilling things I’ve done. I feel blessed and honored not only to be making my debut as a lead actor but to have also executively produced this film. I honestly can’t wait to take you guys along with me on this next phase of my life and art…. I’m just getting started.”
