The exciting news is that Funke Akindele, the owner of Funke Akindele Network (FAAN), is bringing back our favorite Jenefia character for the upcoming TV series “Everybody Loves Jenifa.”
The movie “Everybody Loves Jenifa” will debut in December 2024, according to Jenifa’s Instagram post on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 .”It’s been a while since you saw Jenifa,” She wrote. See her post below.

In the 2008-launched franchise, Funke Akindele’s character Jenifa initially narrated the tale of a country girl named Jenifa who journeyed to the metropolis in search of wealth. She experienced ups and downs after her search brought her into a group of immoral women.
She began hosting the television show Jenifa’s Diary in the year 2015, which starred numerous Nollywood actors, including Michael Uba, Falz, Juliana Oloyede, and others. Additionally, the franchise gave rise to spin-offs including “Jenifa on Lockdown” (2021) and “Aiyetoro Town” (2019, 18 episodes), both of which are based in Jenifa’s hometown.
She did not, however, specify in her Instagram post whether the new film would be released in theaters or on a streaming service. See the movie poster for her upcoming film below.
