Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has once again made a significant move in his career with the presentation of the new film and media centre, Euphoria 360 Hub, in Lagos.
This establishment is part of Adebayo’s evolving vision to extend his talent beyond acting and create more opportunities in Nigeria’s creative industry.
Euphoria 360 Hub is envisioned as a film production and creative hub for content creators, musicians and others in the entertainment industry.
The newly established centre features facilities for film production, sound recording, music videos, events, and post-production, allowing creatives to manage various aspects of content creation in one space.
The event was attended by various celebrities from the film industry and entertainment world.
The list of attendees included veteran actors Mr Latin, Dele Odule, Yemi Sodimu, and Ijebu, content creator Kamo State, and others.
It also hosted some big projects. It was used as one of the locations for Davido’s music project “B4 B4”, featuring Mayorkun and FOLA.
For Adebayo, the opening of Euphoria 360 Hub represents a new phase in his journey as a filmmaker and media entrepreneur.
The actor has become much more involved in large-scale Nigerian productions, either in front of or behind the camera. He has worked on films like Jagun Jagun, King of Thieves and Seven Doors.
Adebayo continues to invest in storytelling, film production and development of creative talent through Euphoria360 Media Limited.
The company is also looking towards training through plans for a film academy that will provide aspiring filmmakers with opportunities to learn and develop their skills.
As Nigeria’s entertainment industry is expanding, filmmakers and content creators are increasingly looking for professional spaces and improved production facilities; the opening of the Euphoria 360 Hub is the latest development.
The establishment of more creative cities may offer a solution to some of the infrastructure issues that plague filmmakers in Nollywood and provide space for new talent to join the industry.
Adebayo’s newest move is thus more than just a studio addition to Lagos.
It puts the filmmaker in a different role, one who is interested in creating a platform to develop, produce, and showcase Nigerian stories to audiences.
Femi Adebayo is now in a better position than before as Euphoria 360 Hub has opened, and the actor is now a known face in the Nollywood industry, but also a filmmaker and a creative industry entrepreneur.
