Nigerian actress, Toyin Abraham has ended her long term competitive spirit with her colleague, Funke Akindele in the Nollywood film industry.
Earlier today, the movie star, Toyin Abraham took to her Instagram page to extend her love and friendship to Funke Akindele and other big stars in the Nollywood industry, saying they don’t have to be negatively competitive.
In her Instagram post, she celebrated Funke’s achievement in the Nollywood industry where her movie emerged highest grossing movie of all time, raked in over N1 billion at box office.
She also noted that Funke inspired her and other women to work harder as like their live depend on it.
However, she noted she had also set records in box office records,but her counterpart , Funke came and beat them. Nevertheless , she she expressed her excitement and happiness that Funke challenged her to set higher goals, describing her as a winner.
Reacting to Toyin Abraham’s lengthy Instagram post, Funke Akindele wrote, “Toyin baby ❤️❤️ all the best dear”. Not only that other celebrities including Yhemo Lee, Jane Mena, Mercy Aigbe commended her for now refraining from unhealthy competition among themselves.
As of the time of filing this report, her Instagram post has garnered over 70,000 likes and 8000 comments.
