The 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) is currently underway in Lagos, and it’s already shaping up to be one for the books. With dazzling red carpet looks, emotional speeches, and some tight races across major categories, the energy is electric both in the hall and online.

While the event is still in full swing, a few big wins have already been announced. Lisabi: The Uprising is making an early sweep with wins in Best Makeup and Best Art Direction. Suspicion has snagged Best Sound Design, and Adedamola Adeyemi has already claimed a trophy for his work on Christmas In Lagos.
