Nollywood couple Lateef Adedimeji and his wife Mo Bimpe have announced the arrival of their triplet sons.

The announcement came quietly at first. A video. A caption. A man pouring his heart out on Instagram. But the moment people read the words, nothing about it stayed quiet for long.

On May 1, 2026, Lateef took to his official Instagram page to share the news that he and his wife, fellow actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, had welcomed three sons into the world.

And the words he chose said everything.

“I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life. God gave me more than I prayed for. A woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own. My world. My responsibility. My legacy. Alhamdulilah!”

For weeks, fans had noticed the unusual silence from one of Nollywood’s most visible stars. No updates. No appearances. No posts. In an industry where staying seen is part of the job, the quietness felt strange. Now they know why. He was not stepping back. He was stepping into the most important role of his life.

The reaction was immediate. Friends, colleagues and fans flooded the couple’s Instagram pages with congratulatory messages, with actress Mercy Aigbe among the first to respond, writing, “To God be the glory.”

Lateef and Mo Bimpe got married on December 18, 2021, in a wedding that became one of the most celebrated moments in recent Nollywood history. Both are decorated names in the Yoruba film industry, and their love story has been one the public has genuinely invested in since day one.

Four years later, God answered in a way neither of them could have planned for. Not one child. Not two. Three sons, arriving together, turning a family of two into a household of five overnight.

Lateef, whose film Lisabi earned him an AMVCA nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Drama in 2026, has spent his career telling other people’s stories on screen. This one, however, belongs entirely to him.

Congratulations to him from all of us at NOLLYWOOD LIFE.
