Mosunmola Fulani Oduoye, a well-known movie producer, has recently announced a change in the release date for her highly anticipated movie, Different Strokes.
The movie was initially scheduled to be released across cinemas nationwide on the 17th of March, 2023, as reported by Nollywood Life.
However, Mosunmola announced on her Instagram page on Saturday morning, March 11th, that the new release date for the movie, Different Strokes featuring Mercy Johnson is now on March 31st.
The reason for the date shift is due to the change in the gubernatorial election date, as reported by Punch Newspaper.
The Independent National Electoral Commission postponed the governorship election to March 18th, which affected the movie’s initial release date.
Also, in her Instagram post, Mosunmola gave a brief summary of the movie’s plot, stating that it revolves around four friends with a common goal but achieving it will take more than just having a shared objective.
