I Deserve Roles on Merit, Not by Begging – Actor Jide Awobona

Nollywood actor, Jide Awobona has revealed how he is being sidelined from Nollywood movie projects.

He disclosed this while appearing as a special guest on a radio program, Nollywood on Radio hosted by Seun Oloketuyi, the owner and curator of the Best Of Nollywood (BON) Awards.

Speaking on movie roles, Jide Awobona said he shouldn’t be begging for roles rather he should get them on merit.

In the program, Jide said he got a call that he had been replaced with someone else after discovering his name was penciled in.
