Some Twitter users, mostly Nigerians, are saying they are tired of seeing same famous celebrities actors in Nigerian movies.

After a behind-the-scenes shot of Nigerian actress Nancy Isime, Shola Ooja, Jemima Osunde, and other well-known celebrity actors who were in the Nigerian film Hijack93 went viral on social media, this is what has happened.

However, some Twitter users claimed that it was past time for the Nollywood film business to introduce fresh casts and faces in their comments on the popular post. They want Nollywood to stop showing same famous actors in Nigerian movies.

@OpeyemiAkande14 wrote, “Audition tapes, open audition, new faces are needed.”

@Omawunmi101 wrote, “same faces everywhere, I feel sorry for upcoming actors.”

@Uzrdinma wrote, “Has Nigeria run out of good Actors and actresses? There are the movies you need unknown faces that can pull them off. Not faces you will be watching and mentally constracting on-screen behaviour with off-screen behaviour.”

@Toksadee wrote, “Seeing same faces in every new high profile movie is becoming tiring. There relatively unknown actors that are very talented out of them. Nollywood directors and producers cast them.”

@AsaNwanyiEnugu wrote, “As much as I appreciate their talents, it is exhausting to see the same faces all the time. I simply cannot understand why it is so hard to cast other good actresses.”

@papijendi wrote, “Is there a monopoly going on in the Nollywood that we are not aware of? Same faces everytime.

@its_Teegold wrote, “This is one of the reasons why I don’t really watch Nollywood anymore, it’s the same faces everytime.”
