Billionaire politician Ned Nwoko has shared his side of the bitter feud with Nollywood star Regina Daniels and her family.
In a detailed Instagram post, Ned accused Regina’s brother Sammy of harassment and claimed he poured millions into supporting them despite their ingratitude. The post comes amid escalating accusations of abuse, drug use, and arrests that have gripped social media.
Ned said videos show Sammy repeatedly showing up at his home to harass his children and staff, especially when he was away. He called these visits aggressive and disruptive. “This is someone I sponsored through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma,” Ned wrote. He added that he bought Sammy’s musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, and even bought a house in Asaba for Regina and her family before their marriage.
He also revealed ongoing financial help. He said he routinely gave allowances to all family members, including Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels. “In the last two years, I have a record of transferring ₦125 million to her alone,” he stated. Ned painted a picture of betrayal, saying the family turned against him after all his support.
He explained that he arranged therapy after noticing changes in her behavior, like staying awake for 48 hours or eating every two hours. Doctors instructed to keep enablers away during rehab. But He accused Sammy, Destiny, and others like Sonia Uche Montana of ignoring this. They allegedly forced their way into the house and brought her the same drugs she was trying to quit.
Ned went further, claiming Lawrence and Sammy first introduced and supplied the drugs to Regina. He said they were all deep into the habit themselves and pulled her back instead of helping. “I do not drink alcohol nor smoke. In fact, I am a vegetarian. So I found these characters and behaviors reprehensible and totally unacceptable.
Just four weeks ago, the Senator said he woke up at 4 a.m. to find Regina in his room, high and on the phone,” he wrote.
Some hours later, Regina Daniels gave her response, admitting she is into drugs. She also claimed she was never legally married to Ned and accused him of locking her up, forcing drugs on her, and ignoring her refusals for intimacy.
