Nigerian singer, Simi has expressed concern about her eyesight, saying her eyes are acting they need glasses.
Simi, who is known for hits such as “Joromi” and “Duduke,” expressed her frustrations with the situation, saying that she was worried about the implications of her eyesight deteriorating at such a young age 35.
She made this known to the public via her Instagram page story on Sunday, May 7th, 2023.
In her post, she urged her fans and followers to pray for her earnestly so that she would not resort to using glasses at just her mid age.
Simi wrote, “Y’all I think 35 is really middle age, cause my eyes acting like they need glasses. Pray for me.”
As of the time of filing this report, Nollywood Life can’t confirm what exactly eye defect she is facing that she is making her have a feeling of start using glasses.
In a publication by Guardian Nigeria, medical professionals revealed more Nigerians are developing eye-related issues due to neglect of the small but most vital part of the body, especially to frequent exposure to laptops, phones and television screens.
Additionally, they emphasized the importance of regular eye exams, taking the proper steps to protect the eye, and taking the necessary supplements in order to maintain eyesight.
