Popular Nigerian actor Uzor Arukwe has made history by stepping into film production. He is the co-producer of Alive Till Dawn, the first major Nollywood zombie horror film to hit cinemas in Nigeria from January 30th, 2026.

This bold project marks Uzor’s debut as a producer. He teamed up with his colleague Leo Obienyi to bring this exciting zombie story to life. The film follows a group of unlikely people, including a police officer, ex-convicts, and civilians, who get trapped in a building during a sudden zombie outbreak in a Nigerian city. They must fight to survive until dawn while facing undead hordes, testing their loyalty and instincts.

Uzor plays a key lead role as a tough character in this intense survival thriller. The cast also includes Shine Rosman, Michael Dappa, Chisom Agoawuike, and others. Directed by Sulaiman Omotola Ogegbe, the movie promises high-energy action with a unique Nigerian twist on the zombie genre.
