Apple has expanded its iCloud+ subscription in Nigeria, giving subscribers access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost.
The new offering, which began rolling out this month, means Nigerians can access Apple’s streaming service and gaming platform alongside iCloud storage through a single subscription starting at ₦1,300 per month. The ₦1,300 plan comes with 50GB of iCloud storage.
The expansion also marks the first time Apple TV has officially become available to users in Nigeria. Subscribers will now be able to watch Apple Original films, documentaries and series, including titles such as Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, CODA and F1. Apple says new releases will continue to be added weekly.
Apple Arcade joins the package
Alongside Apple TV, iCloud+ subscribers in Nigeria will receive unlimited access to Apple Arcade, which features more than 200 games.
The catalogue includes titles such as Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Sneaky Sasquatch and Angry Birds Reloaded. Apple Arcade games are available across compatible iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV devices.
Apple Arcade also offers games without advertisements or in-app purchases, while supporting offline play.
Apple TV and Arcade subscriptions will no longer be standalone in Nigeria
As part of the change, Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be offered as separate subscriptions in Nigeria.
Existing subscribers to either service will continue to have access through their iCloud+ subscription, while their individual subscriptions will be cancelled. Apple also said Apple Arcade users will retain their existing game progress and saves.
The iCloud+ package also includes Family Sharing, allowing subscribers to share their plan with up to five family members.
Beyond entertainment, Nigerian iCloud+ users will continue to receive cloud storage and other premium iCloud features, including enhanced privacy features and event creation through Apple Invites.
Apple is also giving iCloud+ subscribers access to Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free stations programmed by Apple Music. Subscribers who want the full Apple Music experience can get the Individual plan for ₦1,500 per month or the Family plan for ₦2,500 through Apple.
Apple said the expanded iCloud+ offering is rolling out across more than 100 countries and regions. With the expansion, Apple TV will become available in 170 countries globally.
