Nigerian actor, Kanayo O Kanayo has paved the way for his first son as he introduces him to Nollywood.
He stated that his first son, Clinton, a recent Babcock University information and communication technology graduate, would work as his personal assistant and assistant production manager at his film production company, Simpliciter Associates Productions.
On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, he made this revelation in a video posted to his Instagram page. In the video sighted by NOLLYWOOD LIFE, Kanayo O Kanayo instructed the crew workers at his production firm that his first son would not receive any preferential treatment and would instead be paid the same as the other crew members.
He said, “This is Clinton Onyeze Mbaise, my first son. And he is joining us today as assistant production manager and as my personal assistant.
“Do not treat him like my son. It is a warning I am giving to everybody. He is here to work. He is going to earn a fee like every other person. Do not begin to say na K.O.K son. I no dey for that kind thing. Treat him as a member of the production crew.”
He also admonished other movie producers to bring their children into the filmmaking industry as he expressed his belief in the value of children gaining work experience within their family’s businesses or other establishments.
