Popular Nigerian Comedian AY’s comedy special at Netflix is titled ‘Spotting The Difference’ and will premiere on the streaming platform on Friday, May 5th.

The standup set, which was recorded in Atlanta by the most followed comedian in Africa, was well attended by diverse audiences from different parts of the world.

The comedy special, which will be the first from Nigeria to a worldwide audience, will see Comedian AY joining the list of other global comedians like Kevin Hart, Dave Chappell, Chris Rock, Trevor Nouah, and others on Netflix.

This is indeed good news to the CEO of Corporate World Entertainment (CWE), Comedian AY, and his fans nationwide as he is about to put Nigerian comedy on a global map.

Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as Comedian AY, was groomed to be a comedian by Alibaba Akporobome, a stand-up comedian, master of ceremonies, and actor. Comedian AY worked as Alibaba’s personal assistant and event manager.

The entertainer debuted in the Victoria Garden City (VGC) performance of Ali Baba’s Fans Club. Ayo Makun became well-known after appearing at an Opa Williams-hosted comedy show in 2006.

Since then, with the help of his show AY Live, the regularly sold-out comedy and music performance every Easter Sunday, he has excelled in his field and become one of Nigeria’s most bankable comedians.
