Notably, Akindele’s production has achieved the extraordinary feat of displacing renowned films like “The Wedding Party” from the top three highest-grossing Nigerian movies of all time.
According to data from the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN), Funke Akindele’s earlier movie, “Battle on The Buka Street,” currently holds the title of the highest-grossing Nigerian movie of all time, having amassed an impressive N668 million. Akindele’s consistent presence in blockbuster hits reaffirms her stature as a dominant force in the Nollywood film industry, setting new standards for success.
