Olakunle Churchill fires back at Rosy Meurer’s divorce filing, calling the entire process a sham. The drama surrounding Olakunle Churchill and Rosy Meurer just took a jaw-dropping turn.

Churchill, who was once famously married to Nollywood actress and now evangelist Tonto Dikeh, has come out publicly to deny that his relationship with Rosy Meurer ever had any legal standing. According to him, there is simply nothing to divorce because the marriage was never registered in any court or solemnized in any church.

This explosive statement comes on the heels of Meurer reportedly moving to end the union through a formal divorce process, a decision many believe was triggered by Churchill’s much talked about reconciliation with his ex-wife Tonto Dikeh earlier this year.

Taking to his Instagram page on Wednesday, Churchill did not hold back. He described the circulating divorce documents as completely false and questioned how they were obtained in the first place. He made it clear that what happened between himself and Meurer was nothing more than an introduction ceremony, which under Nigerian law does not constitute a legally binding marriage.

He went a step further and took a sharp dig at the legal team behind the documents, suggesting that the lawyers advising Meurer lack proper experience and were producing court papers within 24 hours without following due process. He also pointed out that he was never formally served with any divorce papers, which he said makes the entire process questionable.

This is a story that keeps twisting. From Tonto and Churchill’s bitter public split years ago, to Churchill building a life with Rosy Meurer, to Tonto’s spiritual transformation and their unexpected reconciliation, every chapter has kept Nigerians talking. And now this.
