Actor Doyin Hassan from Nigeria has resorted to social media after the birth of his first child to clarify that he waited 24 years to have a child and that it was not with his current wife.
On Wednesday afternoon, December 27, 2023, he announced this to the world on his Instagram page.
NOLLYWOOD LIFE reported earlier this week that Doyin Hassan and his third wife received a bouncing baby girl after 24 years of waiting. He described his daughter as a wonderful testimony of God’s faithfulness.
However, Hassan explained in a post on his Instagram page that it was he who had waited for 24 years, not his wife after many had assumed from his post that the couple had waited 24 years to be blessed with the fruit of the womb.
He claims that following the deaths of his first two marriages, he wed his third wife in December 2020. He clarified that he was the one testifying of his tears and labors, not his wife, who was not barren. See his post below:
