Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has featured 175 crew members in her new series, ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’.
The movie star took to her Instagram page where she expressed her appreciation to the 175 crew members of ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’, saying the new series is a self-funded film project with 95% of the cast being young people.
Taking to her social media page, Funke Akindele wrote, “Proud moment! I want to celebrate the incredible 175 crew members who worked tirelessly for 9 weeks to bring ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ to life! As a self-funded project, I’m honored to have empowered a team of talented individuals, with 95% of them being young people, to showcase their skills.
“Special shoutout to our Nigerian and Ghanaian crew members who collaborated seamlessly to make this happen. I believe in empowering the next generation and giving them opportunities to shine. And shine they did! Get ready for the movie’s release in December!.”
‘Everyone Loves Jenifa’ will be out in December, however, NOLLYWOOD LIFE has yet to confirm the exact date her new series will be released across all selected cinemas nationwide.
Meanwhile, Funke Akindele is also working on another movie project, ‘Finding Me‘ as reported by Pulse Nigeria.
